Men in sweden sit down to pee because feminists there claim it is "degrading" for a man to stand up to pee.

What else do swedish men do in sweden? Lick women’s shoes clean if they stand in dog poo?

The world knows about the matriarch in sweden and is laughing its ass off at how the men allow it.

The only thing they are known for is radical feminism and shitty furniture

banner2 Do women in sweden take their men out for a walk on a dog lead?

i saw a youtube video of a dog whisperer talking about how dog leads attached to collars hurt the dogs neck and spine, she said harnesses attached to the lead (not attached to the collar) are better because they don’t rub into the dog. but are they? thanks.

My Dobermann walks calmly at my side on a slack six foot leather lead which is attached to a flat leather collar. No harm to his neck because he was trained to figure out that choosing to behave in an acceptable manner was to his benefit because he avoided a correction and wanted behavior was marked with praise.

Harnesses may work well for some dogs/breeds, but not on the powerful, independently minded and less tractable.

Better is whatever works to obtain the training goals of the owner with the individual dog.

For those who have asked about charitable donations in her memory, Lis’ was very concerned with canine health and believed in the AKC Canine Health Foundation, http://www.akcchf.org/
She was also a supporter of and recipient from Take the Lead, http://www.takethelead.org/ Take the Lead provides direct services, support and care for people in the sport of purebred dogs who suffer the devastation of life-threatening and terminal illnesses.

On the evening of May 6,2008, Lis’ Kristof left this “wonderful earth”. Surrounded by her mother, dearest friends, and beloved chinese cresteds; she departed in peace. Thank you to everyone who has commented on this video. She was uplifted by your positive comments and it continues to give solace to those of us who will miss her dearly.

Update: May 6, 2008
Lis’ is having more bad days than good now & grows weaker every day, but everything is being done to make her as comfortable as possible. She’s home & her 2 Chinese Cresteds are keeping vigil by her side. Diva, especially, is very protective of her & only leaves her for potty breaks & meals. Lis’s mom, dogs & friends are all caring for her.

Lis’ is at peace and is ready to be done with this part of her journey. Please pray for a quick & peaceful release.
Thank you!
Sherree

With the help of a friend, Lis’ was able to make it out to watch a USDAA trial from the car. She continues to live life to the fullest possible, each day, one at a time. Congratulations, to Terry & Wicket (Lis’ rescue border collie) for getting their ADCH-Bronze and Lifetime Achievement Award – Bronze this weekend.

Update: April 21, 2008
Lis’ mum arrived safely from New Zealand over the weekend. We are cherishing one day at a time. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. From Lis’, her friends and family.

Lis’ & Diva’s ADCH Run.

It is with great emotion that I made this video to celebrate a great team and an outstanding competitor. It is for Lis’ friends, who I know are going to deseperately miss seeing this team out on the agility field together. I have trained with; traveled with; argued with; cried with; laughed with; and learned from Lis’ since the day I started in agility. Now I will go on to begin again with a new pup and hopefully I will take with me all the life lessons I’ve learned from her.

Lis’, God Bless you and your naked kids.

0 Dog Walking made easy The IBR Slip leadWe have been sending adopted Illinois Birddog Rescue dogs and puppies with the English Slip leads from Mendota products for several years. In the modified “half-hitch” position, we find that this is a wonderful humane method for dog walking. We order our leashes in 10 foot lengths in many colors. As a professional dog walker for the past 10 years, I use these leashes exclusively with my clients from pups to older dogs as I find choker and pinch collars unacceptable training tools. For Agility training they are ideal as well. Go to http://illinoisbirddogrescue.org/shopping.html for more info. Lisa

Temple of the Dog was a one-album project conceived in 1990. The purpose of Temple of the Dog was to pay tribute to the late Andrew Wood, the lead singer of Mother Love Bone, who died of a heroin overdose in 1990. Following his death, Mother Love Bone broke up, but Wood’s bandmates Jeff Ament (bass) and Stone Gossard (guitar) decided to continue working together. Before Ament and Gossard formed a new band, they assembled Temple of the Dog, recruiting Chris Cornell (vocals) and Matt Cameron (drums) from Soundgarden to form the core of the group. Temple of the Dog also featured contributions from then-unknown vocalist Eddie Vedder.

0 OMG! Man Left Dog On Leash Outside Of An Elevator!Head in his hands, a snapped dog’s lead on the floor, this astonishing footage captures the moment a man believed he had killed his pet after it got trapped on the wrong side of a lift door.

Security camera film shows the pair enter an apartment building in Chicago and walk down the corridor towards the elevator.

But while the man enters the lift, his 18-month-old bulldog cross is distracted by a woman in the hallway and remains standing still, head twisted away.

Seconds later the doors close on the lead, and the dog is seen being pulled towards the ceiling as the lift begins to rise.

A second camera inside the lift recorded the owner’s despair after he realises his pet’s predicament.

He desperately lunges towards the doors and then presses frantically at the buttons before the leash snaps, fracturing his wrist and breaking a bone in his hand

The frantic man is then seen pacing the elevator, head in his hands before he finally returns to the lobby of the apartment.

Luckily for both the dog and its owner, the leash snapped and the animal dropped back to the ground unhurt.

The owner, who did not want to be named, told ninemsn: ‘I was expecting the worst case scenario. I actually almost didn’t want to open the door and see what had happened on the lobby side.

‘I wish I would have let go of the leash, but it all happened so fast that it pulled me in and it was impossible to take my hand out of the strap.’

‘I thought the elevator would sense the leash and reopen, but it was too late.’

When he got back to the lobby, his pet was being looked after by a woman from the same apartment.
